1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://roadster-info.us (the "Site"), operated by Roadster Info ("we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Informational purpose only

The Site provides general information about roadster automobiles for educational and entertainment purposes. Nothing on the Site is professional mechanical, legal, financial, insurance or safety advice. Always consult a qualified professional before buying, modifying, repairing or driving a vehicle. 4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, illustrations, drawings, graphics, layout, code and the "Roadster Info" name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark and other laws.

You may view, download and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and other notices. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display or create derivative works from the Site's content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

5. Third-party trademarks

Vehicle manufacturer names, model names and other third-party marks referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those owners.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or related systems, or interfere with their operation;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Site in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • submit false information, impersonate any person, or sign up others for our newsletter without their consent;
  • introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to "The Open Road Digest," you agree to receive periodic emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We handle your email address as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Interactive tools

Tools such as the power-to-weight calculator and buyer's checklist are provided for convenience and produce approximate, illustrative results. They are not a substitute for a professional inspection or manufacturer data.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject "DMCA notice," including: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Site; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roadster Info and its contributors from any claims, liabilities, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of the Site is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page and changing the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them. We may suspend or discontinue the Site, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
